Lots of distractions going on lately that have taken me away from my happy space, so I'm ready to get back to blogging and doing what I love. I go through brief hiatus's now and then when things get chaotic, so I'm working on eliminating them and being more consistent for my lovely followers. Especially because what better way to step away from chaos then to come to my little corner of the internet and forget about my worries for a little while. I'm looking forward to producing more content in the upcoming weeks so let me know if there is anything you want to see! I love hearing from you guys! Let's do this!
This dreamy fall weather is everything. The in between stage when the weather is cool enough for a vest but not cold enough for a jacket is my favorite. It takes layering to a whole new level. The weather is getting colder day by day as we approach the winter months, which means coat season is upon us so get those fall outfits in while you can. But, it is November now, and aside from the fall weather loving, all my holiday feels are in in full swing. In three weeks I will be home for thanksgiving then before you know it Christmas! My favorite time of the year! Speaking of, has anyone started Christmas shopping? I'm a last minute shopper, oops!
Now lets talk clothes, I have been looking everywhere for a shirt/sweater with cute elbow patches and look-y what we have here! The cutest softest little patched shirt! Just when I gave up on looking for the the perfect one I stumbled across this shirt while in one my favorite hometown, local boutiques, Pearls & Plaids! If you ever find yourself in Old Saybrook, CT or somewhere near by you have to make your way to this darling place or check out their website, which I linked before. This tiny boutique is packed full of beauties! Besides this brag worthy shirt, I was over the moon when I remembered that I had an awesome pair of fall booties that matched my shirts patches exactly! These boots are an old find from Forever 21, but they still rock and never fail to add some fun and/or dress up a relatively casual outfit. Bootie season is the best season! Am I right?
Theres a lot going on for me in the next few weeks, homecoming, last football game of the season (a big event at Fordham), Thanksgiving break a couple research papers here and there (yuck!) Time to get busy, but I will try to document it all! What's everyone else have coming up? Don't forget to comment and let me know what you want to see on the blog in the future, or head to my instagram and comment or message me there, you can even shoot me an email, I'd love to hear from you all!
P.s while writing this post I realized that I've been wearing these jeans all week and yes, I do in fact live in my express jeans! Right now they are BOGO so go get yourself a pair if you're looking for an everyday pair of jeans that are super comfortable and easy to move around in!
